As such, we have opened up a free delivery service for anyone over 60 within a 5mile radius in Watford to order medicine and essential groceries. Due to limited staff, we can only serve those most in need. Call our hotline 0203 189 1403 to receive this service.
We understand that delivery services remain crucial in a time of crisis. It is not only convenient but has become essential to many. Due to this reason, UKDAR’s courier service is our top priority during this period. We also recognise the trust you place in us and how much we value that trust. Therefore, we are taking steps to ensure our operations are safe, and we practice all health protocols. We are vigilant of the recommendations of the UK government, WHO, ECDC, and other leading health organisations. In accordance, we have taken various steps, including;
- Briefing the staff on the virus and encouraging good hygiene practices, including frequent hand washing and using face masks.
- Cleaning and disinfecting workspaces daily and as required.
- Disinfecting our removal vehicles, equipment, and utensils regularly, and especially after delivery.
- Maintaining safety precautions throughout the removal process and maintaining social distance with customers and recipients.
- Making sure staff are monitoring their health and seeking immediate medical health for flu-like symptoms.
- If a team member is displaying any flu-like symptoms, requiring them to stay at home.
- Arranging non-contact deliveries and suspending signature requirements.
